Job Summary
Educational Performer (Teacher/Presenter) makes history come alive for students through highly engaging, scripted presentations in classrooms, with up to two 2.5-hour shows per day. The role requires memorizing and delivering three scripts, traveling to different schools within a large calendar area, setting up and tearing down display equipment, making travel arrangements, and submitting monthly expense reports. Training spans 10-12 days with additional sessions; initial training includes food lodging and mileage reimbursement. The position involves full-time calendar-based work Oct–mid-June with paid holidays, a salary of $4,200/month after training, and benefits for the employee. Required qualities include strong communication, problem-solving, ability to command a room, comfort with travel, and a valid driver’s license; DOJ background check is required. Must enjoy working with kids, maintaining a positive, flexible attitude, and delivering a high-energy educational experience daily.
