Prescription Department Specialist responsible for calling in or e-faxing confirmed prescriptions to pharmacies, monitoring locked and co-signed charts in eCW, ensuring accurate and timely prescription processing, verifying insurance coverage and formularies, and submitting prior authorizations. Role requires interaction with patients, pharmacies, insurers, and providers, maintaining PHI/HIPAA compliance, and upholding professional conduct. Proficient use of Excel and strong communication skills are valued in a fast-paced environment within an opioid-use-disorder treatment setting.
