Job Summary

Contract Prescribing Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for Lyra’s mental health network. The role delivers evidence-based psychiatric care via live video intake appointments and regular follow-ups, including psychiatric evaluations and medication management. You will construct patient-centered treatment plans, document recommendations, message patients, and monitor medications, with a focus on measurement-based, patient-centered care and minimizing risks. The opportunity emphasizes in-person options for care and requires licensure in WA, with a strong preference for NPs or PA-Cs with psychiatry credentials, DEA license, and 2+ years of practice. The work is virtual/remote with a Washington state focus and is conducted as a 1099 contractor within Lyra Clinical Associates’ network.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program; OR graduate from an accredited PA program (ARC-PA) with certification through PANCE
  • Active DEA license (strong preference)
  • Minimum of 2 years in practice
  • Unrestricted state license in Washington
  • Office space available to see clients
  • Ability to provide care to patients with full range of diagnoses and clinical complexity; in-person options preferred
  • Full-time resident of the United States
  • Licensure in WA (state requirements)
  • NP or PA-C with psychiatry certification or related fellowship preferred
