Job Summary
Contract Psychiatric Mental Health provider needed to treat children, adolescents, and young adults via virtual/remote visits. Responsibilities include 60-minute intake appointments, regular follow-ups, mental health medication management, psychiatric evaluations, risk assessments, and longitudinal treatment planning. You will document treatment recommendations, message patients, and prescribe/manage psychiatric medications. Must be licensed as PMHNP or PA with psychiatry credentials (PANCE/ARC-PA) and hold or be eligible for DEA license; 2+ years in practice; preference for in-person options and office space to see patients; US residency required; remote 1099 contractor role with Mississippi license focus; multiple states prioritized for placement.
Required Qualifications
- Unrestricted state license in Mississippi
- Graduate from an accredited PMHNP program OR graduate from an accredited PA program (ARC-PA) with certification through PANCE
- Preference for Certificate of Added Qualifications in psychiatry or related postgraduate psychiatry training, including Doctor of Medical Science with Psychiatry concentration
- Active DEA license preferred
- Minimum 2 years in practice
- Preference for providers who offer in-person options
- Ability to provide care to patients with a full range of diagnoses and clinical complexity
- Office space with ability to see clients
- Full-time resident of the United States
