Job Summary
Contract Child and Adolescent Psychiatric/Mental Health care provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) delivering evidence-based medication management via virtual intake and follow-up visits, with possible in-person options in Kentucky. Role emphasizes diagnostic expertise, family engagement, ethical practice, and continuous improvement, including 60-minute intake appointments, psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and development of patient-centered treatment plans. Requires PMHNP or PA qualification with relevant certification, Kentucky licensure, DEA license, and at least 2 years of practice; 1099 contract arrangement with remote/virtual work and in-person capability in a Kentucky office.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program; OR graduate from an accredited PA program (ARC-PA) with certification through PANCE with preference for Certificate of Added Qualifications in psychiatry, post-graduate fellowship in psychiatry, or other academic psychiatry certificate program completion, including a Doctor of Medical Science with Psychiatry concentration
- Unrestricted state license in Kentucky
- A minimum of 2 years in practice
- Strong preference for NPs and PA-Cs with an active DEA license
- Preference for NPs and PA-Cs with additional certification or clinical experience with minors
- Must have office space with ability to see clients
- Ability to provide care to patients with a full range of diagnoses, clinical complexity, and severity levels, with a preference for providers who offer in-person options
- Full-time resident of the United States
