Job Summary
Conduct psychiatric evaluations, perform risk assessments, and manage longitudinal medication treatment for children, teens, and young adults via 30-minute video intake and 60-minute follow-up appointments. Construct patient-centered treatment plans, document recommendations, and prescribe psychiatric medications while adhering to clinical best practice guidelines. Provide culturally responsive care to patients with varying needs and abilities, offering in-person options where feasible in Reading. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited (CCNE) Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program
- Graduate from an accredited PA program (ARC-PA) with certification through PANCE
- Unrestricted state license
- A minimum of 2 years in practice
- Active DEA license
- Must have office space with ability to see clients in Reading
- Ability to provide care to patients with a full range of diagnoses, clinical complexity, and severity levels
- Full-time resident of the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Certificate of Added Qualifications in psychiatry
- Post-graduate fellowship in psychiatry
- Other academic psychiatry certificate program completion
- Doctor of Medical Science with Psychiatry concentration
- Additional certification or clinical experience with minors
