Job Summary
Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing the Creative Curriculum and Thrive to Five Daily Structures while promoting cognitive development and healthy social-emotional growth. Prepare classrooms, follow daily routines, and assess children's developmental levels using GOLD tools to inform differentiated instruction. Provide adequate supervision, ensure safety compliance with DHS and CACFP standards, and teach health skills like hand washing and nutrition. Collaborate with the team on behavior support plans and family engagement activities to foster a welcoming environment. Work 37.5 hours weekly from 8:00am to 3:30pm during the 44-week school year.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- Age-appropriate Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) with 1250 hours of documented experience with children
- Must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities either unaided or with reasonable accommodation

- Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education
