Job Summary
Preschool Teacher responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum for infants to school-age children (age range varies by location). Must facilitate age-appropriate activities, support social-emotional development, and ensure continuous supervision in a safe, healthy environment. Create enriching learning environments, establish authentic, culturally responsive relationships with children, families, and the center team, and collaborate with staff to deliver high-quality programs. Maintain safety and comply with health guidelines, supervise field trips when applicable, and bring strong organizational skills for lesson planning, documentation, and classroom management. Requires relevant ECE/credentialing coursework or AA degree and California teaching credentials; CPR/First Aid preferred; on-site schedule is full-time with shift Mon-Fri 8:30am–5:30pm. Required Qualifications
- 24 postsecondary semester or equivalent quarter units in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field with passing grades of C- or better, plus 16 general education units OR
- AA degree or higher in ECE, CD, or related field from a nationally accredited college OR
- Teacher Permit or above issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
- 2 years of experience in a group care environment preferred
- Current adult and infant/child CPR & First Aid certification preferred
