Job Summary
Preschool Teacher responsible for program development and implementation, supervision of children, and working as a team member in a preschool setting. Responsibilities include planning and leading developmentally appropriate activities, organizing and presenting lessons, monitoring and reporting behavior, ensuring health and safety, leading activities for small and large groups, participating in trainings, maintaining equipment and site cleanliness, modeling professional behavior and YMCA values, and supporting kindergarten readiness through collaborative teamwork and adherence to discipline procedures.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years old
- At least 12 months experience working as a lead in a classroom
- Ability to successfully complete background check as required by the Commonwealth of Kentucky
- Up to date TB test
- Up to date first aid and CPR certification
