Job Summary
Lead a preschool classroom with a co-teacher for ages 3–5, delivering hands-on learning from The Learning Experience's LEAP curriculum; responsibilities include creating lesson plans, conducting assessments, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, communicating with families, supporting events and enrollment initiatives, and mentoring assistant teachers. Strong teamwork, reliability, and a commitment to early childhood education are required, along with licensing compliance and the ability to actively engage children throughout the day. Must meet Florida DCF teacher qualifications and hold CPR/First Aid certification. The position offers a $1,000 signing bonus and full-time hours in Riverview, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Meet Florida DCF Teacher qualifications
- Formal Education, CDA, Staff Credential or other Early Childhood coursework, or related experience required
- Experience in a licensed childcare center, preschool, or Early Learning environment required
- CPR/First Aid Certification required
- Ability to lift, carry 50lbs, and actively engage with children throughout the day to include sitting on the floor
