Job Summary
Lead daily preschool classroom routines and learning activities, implementing developmentally appropriate lessons using The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum. Support early literacy, math readiness, problem-solving, and social-emotional development while guiding children through learning centers, meals, outdoor play, and transitions. Create a safe, organized, and engaging environment and observe children's progress to communicate regularly with families. Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership while adhering to Virginia childcare licensing and safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
- Previous professional childcare or preschool experience
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practice
- Dependable, organized, and team-oriented
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements
