Job Summary
Preschool Teacher in a structured classroom environment focused on kindergarten readiness, confidence, and social-emotional development for ages 3–5. Responsibilities include supporting daily routines, promoting early literacy and math readiness, creating a safe engaging environment, guiding transitions, communicating with families, collaborating with the teaching team, and adhering to New York State childcare licensing requirements. Qualifications include 12+ credits in Early Childhood Education or an associated credential (CDA or an Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in ECE).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 12 credits in Early Childhood Education required, or CDA, Associate’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
- Prior preschool classroom experience preferred
- Must meet New York State childcare licensing requirements
