Job Summary
Lead daily preschool classroom routines and learning activities while implementing developmentally appropriate lessons using The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum. Support early literacy, math readiness, problem-solving, and social-emotional development by guiding children through learning centers, meals, outdoor play, and transitions. Create a safe, organized, and engaging environment and observe children's progress to communicate regularly with families. Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership while following Virginia childcare licensing and safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
- Previous professional childcare or preschool experience
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practice
- Dependable, organized, and team-oriented
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements
