Job Summary
Lead daily preschool classroom instruction for ages 3–5 in a structured, engaging environment focused on kindergarten readiness and social-emotional development. Guide a classroom team, support early literacy and math readiness, create a safe and organized learning space, mentor assistant teachers, and communicate progress with families. Ensure compliance with New York State and NYC childcare licensing requirements; apply developmentally appropriate practices and foster confidence, independence, and early academic foundations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required
- Prior preschool classroom leadership experience preferred
- Must meet New York State childcare licensing requirements
