Job Summary
Preschool Teacher responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children. Implement the LEAP curriculum using engaging characters to make learning enjoyable. Build relationships with families and colleagues, and communicate with parents about children’s progress via mobile apps and discussions. Requires 6 months to 2 years of professional teaching experience; Florida ECE coursework (45 DCF Hours); CDA or Associate degree or higher preferred; CPR and First Aid certification; must meet state guidelines. Small class settings with developmentally appropriate practices and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional teaching experience preferred; at least six months of professional teaching experience required
- Florida specific ECE coursework required (45 DCF Hours)
- CDA or Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred
- High school diploma/GED required
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
