Job Summary
Preschool Teacher providing direct classroom instruction and program management in a Child Development Center. Responsible for delivering 20 hours per week (10 hours direct teaching and 10 hours planning per 20 students), implementing Creative Curriculum and High Scope, conducting two family conferences, and completing at least one home visit per school year. The role includes developing and implementing classroom activities and field trips, supervising Classroom Educators, ensuring compliance with standards, participating in professional development and staff trainings, maintaining records (COR assessments, attendance, food records, databases), and coordinating with the Center Director on curricular quality initiatives and family engagement. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree with teaching certification, and related licensure/clearance as specified; full-time schedule with in-person work in Orange City, IA.
