Job Summary
Support the classroom team in creating a safe, engaging environment where children can learn and grow. Assist with daily activities, provide active supervision, and help bring the curriculum to life while ensuring a smooth, positive classroom experience. Support children's development through positive guidance, interaction, and play, and assist with classroom routines, organization, and communication with families. Work Monday-Friday from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. Join a collaborative, supportive environment where your work helps create a positive experience for children and families each day.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must meet all state-specific education, certification (including CPR/First Aid, where required), licensing, and regulatory requirements
- ability to pass a background check
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work Monday-Friday 2:00pm-6:00pm
Desired Qualifications
- Coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- TCC or CDA
- At least 1 year of previous experience working with young children in a childcare, preschool, or similar setting
- Basic understanding of classroom procedures and willingness to learn state licensing and compliance requirements
- Effective communication skills
