Job Summary
Create an inclusive and engaging learning environment for children aged 3 to 5, fostering growth through evidence-based early childhood education. Lead developmentally appropriate activities and maintain trusting relationships with children and families to ensure a secure, health-conscious, and well-organized setting. Tailor approaches to meet individual needs while integrating Early Childhood Development theory into daily classroom activities. Work a 10-hour day shift Tuesday through Friday in Fulton, MO. Central Missouri Community Action empowers people and strengthens community resilience through its Head Start program.
Required Qualifications
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, included with either completed Early Childhood Education coursework or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
- Experience teaching preschool age children
Desired Qualifications
- Daycare, preschool, or childcare work experience
- Prefer experience working with low-income families and children
- Experience with integrating Early Childhood Development theory into daily classroom activities
- Tailor approaches to meet the individual needs of children
