Job Summary
Create an inclusive and engaging learning environment for children of all abilities aged 3 to 5. Lead developmentally appropriate activities to foster growth in all childhood areas while maintaining a trusting relationship with children and their families. Ensure a secure, health-conscious, and well-organized setting that accommodates individual needs by tailoring approaches to meet specific requirements. Work a 10-hour day shift Tuesday through Friday with generous paid time off, including 10 paid holidays and a two-week winter break. This role supports our mission to empower people and strengthen community resilience through evidence-based early childhood education.
Required Qualifications
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
- completed Early Childhood Education coursework
- a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
- Experience teaching preschool age children
Desired Qualifications
- Daycare, preschool, or childcare work experience
- Prefer experience working with low-income families and children
- Experience with integrating Early Childhood Development theory into daily classroom activities
- Tailor approaches to meet the individual needs of children
