Job Summary
Entry-level part-time Preschool Teacher position at First Presbyterian Preschool responsible for developing curriculum and guiding a cohesive teaching team in a supportive environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills
- High energy and the ability to work well with others
- A strong understanding of child development
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification (may be obtained after hire)
- Must clear full background check and must pass health screening
- Ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels
- Specific vision ability including the ability to see up close and up to a certain distance, see colors, have peripheral vision and depth perception
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in early childhood education or related field
- Previous experience in a classroom
- CPR/ First Aid certification
