Job Summary
Support Center Supervisor in ensuring quality experiences for children and families while adhering to laws, regulations, and policies. Coordinate and conduct home visits and parent conferences, schedule individualized education plans, and maintain accurate documentation of program requirements. Plan and implement the center's education plan, ensuring the environment is developmentally appropriate, safe, and offers diverse experiences. Supervise children visually at all times, participate in physical activities, and aid children in developing self-help skills. Implement Individual Education Plans (IEP) and Individual Family Service Plans (IFSP) as part of a multidisciplinary team. Follow program policies, participate in housekeeping duties, and act as a Mandated Reporter of Child Abuse and Neglect.
Required Qualifications
- AA/AS
- 24 units of Early Childhood Education/Child Development
- 6 months related teaching experience
- RCCP, Child Development Teacher Permit or higher
- BA/BS
- 12 units of Early Childhood Education/Child Development
- 1 year related teaching experience
- 3 units Supervised Field Experience
- Child Development Teacher Permit or higher
- valid California driver's license
- current DMV driving record
- proof of insurance
