Job Summary
Preschool Teacher at Centro de la Familia to implement an early childhood education program aligned with Head Start standards under the Education Specialist. Create an inclusive, warm classroom, plan developmentally appropriate curriculum, support dual-language (English/Spanish) learners, manage daily care tasks, observe and assess progress, collaborate with families, support children with special needs, maintain records, and participate in ongoing professional development. Required Qualifications
- AA or AAS in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Current CPR
- First Aid
- Food Handler’s permit within six months
- Ability to work with children with special needs and limited English proficiency
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
- Experience: 2 years in early childhood education (Preferred)
