Preschool Teacher Assistant- Toddlers [3 days/week]

Job Summary
Implement a meaningful learning experience by interacting with toddlers in classroom activities and supporting the teacher while following lesson plans to ensure a cohesive experience. Manage the classroom to encourage student participation and supervise children in and out of the classroom, including the playground and cafeteria. Assist with morning and afternoon setup, clean tables after meals, sweep floors, and perform daily classroom cleaning. Participate in professional growth training programs. Work Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 2 pm, on a three-day rotation (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). Requires a high school diploma, valid Texas driver's license, and compliance with Diocese of Austin Ethics and Integrity Ministry policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Compliance with the Diocese of Austin Ethics and Integrity Ministry (EIM) policies throughout the employment period
- Required to lift or carry supplies, textbooks equipment, etc.
- Required to sit, stand, bend, stoop, grab, pull, hear, see, and speak daily
- Required to monitor students in various locations, including those with noise, activity, and inclement weather
- Required to change diapers
- Working on weekends, evenings, and some holidays may be required
- Will be required to adhere to established dress codes and conduct standards

- Patience in lovingly meeting young learners' spiritual, academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs
- Patience in accepting guidance and assignments from the classroom teacher
- Working with young children is preferred
