Job Summary
Greet children and families daily while supporting a positive, respectful classroom environment that addresses individual developmental, behavioral, and cultural needs, including those with IEPs. Assist staff in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs, ensuring safety and licensing compliance through adherence to the Safety and Supervision Manual. Document and report accidents, incidents, and escalated behaviors per policy, and participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development. This role supports the School Director and classroom leadership at Cadence Education, which operates 340+ schools across 30 states.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to consistently follow safety procedures, including Name‐to‐Face accountability, food allergy processes, bottle‐feeding procedures, and Safe Sleep practices
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a classroom team
- Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English
- Must meet minimum experience and education requirements for the state of employment
- Must meet all state licensing qualifications for a Teacher Assistant in a licensed childcare center
- Ability to obtain and maintain required background clearances and health screenings
- Flexibility is essential

Desired Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Prior early childhood or classroom experience
- CDA
