Job Summary
Greet children and families daily while supporting a positive, respectful classroom environment that addresses individual developmental, behavioral, and cultural needs, including those with IEPs. Assist staff in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs, while adhering to safety procedures like Name-to-Face accountability and food allergy protocols. Document and report accidents, incidents, and escalated behaviors per policy, and participate in required meetings and trainings that may occur outside regular hours. Work flexible shifts in Bourne, MA, with rates of $15.50–$18.50 based on education and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to consistently follow safety procedures, including Name‐to‐Face accountability, food allergy processes, bottle‐feeding procedures, and Safe Sleep practices
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a classroom team
- Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English
- Must meet minimum experience and education requirements for the state of employment
- Must meet all state licensing qualifications for a Teacher Assistant in a licensed childcare center
- Ability to obtain and maintain required background clearances and health screenings
- Flexibility is essential
- Work schedules may vary and are not guaranteed to be eight‐hour shifts

Desired Qualifications
- Experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Prior early childhood or classroom experience
