Job Summary
Greet children and families daily while supporting a positive, respectful classroom environment that addresses individual developmental, behavioral, and cultural needs, including those with IEPs. Assist staff in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs, while maintaining safety and licensing compliance through strict adherence to supervision manuals and reporting procedures. Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using approved tools, and participate in required meetings and trainings that may occur outside regular hours. This role is part of a collaborative team at Cadence Education, which operates over 340 schools across 30 states to foster bright futures for children and families.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to consistently follow safety procedures, including Name‐to‐Face accountability, food allergy processes, bottle‐feeding procedures, and Safe Sleep practices
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a classroom team
- Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English
- Must meet minimum experience and education requirements for the state of employment
- Must meet all state licensing qualifications for a Teacher Assistant in a licensed childcare center
- Ability to obtain and maintain required background clearances and health screenings

Desired Qualifications
- Experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Prior early childhood or classroom experience
- CDA
