Job Summary
Implement company-selected curriculum activities like Zoo-phonics while assisting the Lead Teacher and supervising children during classroom operations, outdoor play, and field trips. Safely transport children to and from designated locations, maintaining a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Keep the classroom, vehicle, and learning areas clean, neat, and organized per company standards. Communicate regularly with parents regarding child progress and address concerns professionally. Complete DRDP evaluations and other classroom documentation as assigned. Attend monthly trainings and staff meetings after hours.
Required Qualifications
- At least 12 Early Childhood Education units
- Early Child Development
- Child, Family & Community
- Infant & Toddler
- Valid California driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to meet company driving requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to sit on the floor and/or stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle
- Must be able to assist children in entering and exiting the vehicle
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of experience working with preschool-age children
- Passionate about working with children (infants through school age)
- Possesses a positive and patient demeanor
- Willing to learn software applications
- Willing to adapt to change
