Job Summary
As a 2s Teacher, you will partner with other teachers to implement our proprietary curriculum and use engaging characters to create a fun, educational environment for children. You will maintain health, safety, and quality standards across daycare classrooms, collaborate with peers to foster a welcoming space, and communicate with families about their child’s progress. You will fulfill gaps across the center to meet childcare needs, focusing on classroom leadership, curriculum implementation (L.E.A.P. Curriculum), health and safety, family communication, center collaboration, and relationship-building with families and colleagues.
Required Qualifications
- Educational Background: High school diploma or GED (state-specific guidelines included)
- Experience in a licensed child care facility
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Fingerprint clearance through the DOJ
- Immunizations
- Health and safety training requirements
- Ability to maintain health and safety standards in classrooms
- Ability to plan, prepare, and collaborate to create a stimulating, welcoming space for children
- Ability to communicate with parents about child progress and milestones
- Capability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed
- Experience with curriculum implementation and adapting approaches for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Commitment to safety, empathy, patience, professionalism
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness of classrooms and common areas
- Commitment to modeling appropriate social skills and conflict resolution
