Job Summary
Provide instruction across Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8 as a classroom teacher at Bonfield Grade School. Design and implement instruction aligned with prescribed district curriculum and objectives; effectively communicate content and applications; utilize instructional tools and current best practices; maintain organized, uncluttered workspace; engage in parent communication including conferences; supervise students and participate in staff meetings, district committees, and school activities; collaborate with colleagues and engage in professional development; maintain records of student performance and participate in district-wide initiatives. Requires a valid IL teaching license with proper endorsements and a Bachelor’s Degree including credential coursework. Duties include promoting social, emotional, and intellectual growth and adhering to district curriculum and objectives.
