Job Summary
Lead innovative learning activities and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times while monitoring their progress and development. Collaborate with teachers across various classrooms to create a harmonious environment that promotes the holistic growth of infants through age 5. Interact regularly with parents and staff to maintain strong communication and support a positive daily atmosphere. This part-time Support Childcare Teacher/Floater role is available at Village Green Day School, with a starting pay of $17.00 to $19.00 per hour and a $500 hiring bonus. A high school diploma is required, with a CDA and one year of childcare experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare center
- 1 yr experience with multiple age groups from infant to age 5
- State-specific requirements
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members
- The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education
