Job Summary
Design engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that make learning feel like play, guiding children through language, literacy, early math, and science discoveries. Foster social-emotional development through positive relationship building while observing and assessing each child's unique developmental progress. Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that spark curiosity and creativity within a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels valued. Establish routines that help children feel secure and confident, creating displays and learning centers that inspire exploration and decision-making. Collaborate with families to support each child's individual growth and ensure all health, safety, and licensing standards are exceeded. This role utilizes the research-based Balanced Learning® approach with fully stocked classrooms and supportive leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Meet local childcare regulatory requirements
- Physical ability to actively engage with children (lifting up to 35 lbs.)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in licensed early childhood programs preferred
- Understanding of child development from infancy through pre-kindergarten
- ECE/Lead Teacher credentials preferred
