Job Summary
Implement innovative curriculum and ensure safety and well-being for children in the El Cajon preschool. Lead a team of dedicated educators by mentoring teachers, promoting core values, and ensuring parents and staff remain engaged. Manage compliance with California Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1 regulations and oversee DRDP assessments to track child development. Maintain current certifications in Pediatric CPR, First Aid, and Mandated Reporter training to lead confidently in emergency situations. Attend monthly trainings and staff meetings after hours.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as Site Director for Preschool serving ages infants to 13 years
- Professional, confident, and outgoing personality
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Experience with DRDP assessments
- Strong working knowledge of California Title 22, Division 12 child care licensing requirements
- Current Certificates: Pediatric CPR and First Aid, Mandated Reporter, Sexual Harassment Training
- Clear DSS Background check
- Proficient in Microsoft, MS Office suite applications and comfortable using technology (computers, tablets, various phone apps)
- Organized and detail oriented, able to prioritize
- Attend (1-3) monthly trainings/ staff meetings after hours
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of CCR Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1 regulations
- Love for animals and/or gardening
