Preschool Service Team Coordinator (part-time)

Job Summary
Preschool Service Team Coordinator shape worshipful learning experiences for preschoolers in EMIC’s Children’s Ministry. Responsibilities include preparing classroom materials, leading classrooms when needed, meeting the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of children, upholding safety procedures, recruiting and training volunteers, communicating with volunteers/parents, supporting curriculum development, and attending trainings. Requires high school diploma or GED (preferred), at least one year of childcare experience, active membership and tithing at EMIC, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage time and prioritize, confidentiality, and the ability to lift 40 pounds. Work includes some evenings and weekends; typical equipment of children’s ministry used. Must be a born-again believer aligned with EMIC doctrines and work well with others in a team setting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year of childcare experience
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Must be a member of EMIC and active tither
- Knowledge of the Word of God and ability to minister to children and adults
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work well with others and as part of a team
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Willingness to attend trainings and adhere to organization doctrines
