Job Summary

Preschool Relief Teacher at Montrose Early Childhood Center. Supports the teacher to provide a nurturing preschool instructional program aligned with the curriculum; responsibilities include implementing instruction to meet individual student needs, creating a conducive learning environment, guiding progress toward curriculum goals, employing appropriate instructional methods, assessing student performance, identifying students needing additional support, and maintaining strong communication with colleagues, students, and parents. Requires NJ Teacher certification in Preschool–Grade 3 and Special Education, experience with developmentally appropriate preschool curricula and performance-based assessments (e.g., Teaching Strategies GOLD), ability to use technology as an instructional tool, and successful completion of background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or eligible residency. Salary reflects degree attainment and experience; options include Bachelor’s, Master’s, Master’s + 30 Credits, and Doctorate with corresponding salary ranges. Ten-month term with competitive benefits including medical/dental insurance, pension, and paid days; reports to the Principal.

Required Qualifications
