Job Summary
Preschool Promise Teacher responsible for maintaining a safe, well‐managed, engaging classroom and implementing a developmentally and culturally appropriate curriculum, creating individualized educational and developmental plans, conducting observations and screenings, collaborating with families and staff to support children with special needs, maintaining records, mentoring apprentices and volunteers, delivering trainings, promoting safe practices, and responding to emergencies as a Mandatory First Responder.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or Diploma de Education Secundaria or higher AND Preschool Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate
- Or One year Oregon community college certificate in field WITH training or coursework in early childhood development with a focus on preschool development
- Preschool Promise Teacher C – $22.42- $24.92 hourly OR Preschool Promise Teacher A - $23.99- $26.65 hourly OR Preschool Promise Teacher B –$25.67- $28.52 hourly
