Preschool/Pre-K Teacher responsible for creating a safe, healthy classroom environment and delivering an integrated curriculum that supports physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development. Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate activities, balancing child-initiated and teacher-initiated experiences, promoting positive self-esteem and peer interactions, maintaining routines, communicating with families via verbal updates and an online platform, providing weekly progress notes and conferences, coordinating with aides/volunteers, ensuring documentation and licensing hours are met, and upholding professionalism in daily practice. Must engage in ongoing staff development and align with the center’s Judaic-ethics-based philosophy. Requires an associates degree, CDA, or teacher certification, and completion of First Aid and CPR certification upon hire.
