Job Summary
Early Years Practitioner at Bright Horizons Bracknell nursery. Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child to foster development towards key milestones; provide a safe environment for children to express themselves and develop a lifelong love of learning. Requires a full and relevant Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification, EYFS knowledge, safeguarding and child protection understanding, and the ability to build trusted partnerships with colleagues and parents. Shift options include 40 hours over 4 or 5 days, 24 hours over 3 days, or 16 hours over 2 days. Required Qualifications
- Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
- Strong understanding of the EYFS
- Safeguarding and child protection knowledge
- Ability to develop trust and partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers
Desired Qualifications
- Level 3 or equivalent Early Years qualification
- Experience in an Early Years setting
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Safeguarding and child protection knowledge
- DBS check experience or willingness to undertake Enhanced DBS
- Strong communication and partnership with parents and colleagues
- Commitment to inclusive learning and professional development
