Job Summary
Preschool Para Professional collaborates with preschool staff to support four-year-olds under Iowa early learning standards; participates in the Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program; engages with parents, teachers, and educational colleagues; maintains regular and punctual attendance; utilizes relevant technology in instructional support; supports children across social-emotional development, physical well-being, approaches to learning, language, communication and literacy, mathematics, science, creative arts, and collaborative relationships; adheres to professional requirements of the school, Diocese, and state, and follows the Bishop Heelan Catholic Schools employment process (resume and cover letter plus BHCS Employment Application).
Required Qualifications
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
- Must have the proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis
- Perform all other related work delegated or required by contract to accomplish the objectives of the total school program
- Knowledge and implementation of relevant technology
- Meet professional requirements of school, Diocese, and state
