Job Summary
Maintain confidential student information while assisting with lunch, bathroom, toileting, and diapering procedures in preschool classrooms. Articulate and comply with program standards, district policies, and state laws to ensure appropriate adult-child interactions that promote learning. Perform assigned duties including diapering and toileting as directed by the supervisor while upholding regular attendance and punctuality. This temporary part-time role requires 10-15 hours per week and is contingent on funding and classroom needs.
Required Qualifications
- high school degree or higher
- Experience working with young children from 0 to 8 years of age
- ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form, including procedure manuals
- ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with parents, teachers, administrators, community, students, and others
- Must be able to push or lift up to 20 lbs
