Job Summary
Lead preschool classroom activities for age 3 students by planning and implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons using Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies GOLD. Provide active supervision to ensure safety while guiding small group lessons and individualized support. Observe and assess children's progress, create an environment for hands-on learning, and build relationships with families and the Wonderspring team. Support assistant teachers to maintain a smooth classroom operation. This role requires an Associate's degree in early childhood education and at least two years of preschool experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in early childhood education or related field
- Minimum 2 years of classroom experience in a preschool setting
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Flexibility as needed
- Comfortable leading a classroom
- Ability to support other teachers
- Ability to maintain professional information
- Ability to manage confidential information with care
- Basic understanding of Department of Human Services (DHS) licensing requirements
- Ability to obtain all required clearances
- Ability to complete a Health Assessment with TB screening prior to employment
