Job Summary
Lead, coach, and mentor co-teachers in your classroom while modeling behaviors and providing feedback. Manage the overall classroom environment to ensure safety, nurturing, and engagement for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Implement the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® tailored to each child's unique needs. Communicate regularly with parents via mobile apps and discussions to share their children's achievements. Partner with center staff and leadership to achieve enrollment and engagement goals. Build strong relationships with families and coworkers to create a seamless learning environment. Requires 1+ years of professional teaching experience, a high school diploma plus 12 ECE credits, and CPR/First Aid certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- 12 ECE College credits
- Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of professional teaching experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR and First Aide certification
