Job Summary
Lead Teacher responsible for managing a safe, nurturing classroom using the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children; coach and mentor less experienced teachers; maintain engaging, developmentally appropriate environments; communicate with families about children’s progress; collaborate with center staff to achieve enrollment and engagement goals; ensure consistent, growth-minded instruction and strong relationships with families and coworkers.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months professional teaching experience (minimum)
- High school diploma or GED required
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred
- AP knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred
