Job Summary
Seeking a passionate Lead Teacher to implement age-appropriate lesson plans using the proprietary Wonder of Learning® curriculum. Responsibilities include creating a safe and inclusive environment, maintaining communication with families about children's progress, supervising children during activities, participating in ongoing professional development, and supporting Assistant Teachers. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma (with an associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred), possess a Child Development Associate (CDA) certification, and have 1-2 years of experience in a childcare setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 1-2 years of previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
- Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Effectively communicates with children, families, and faculty members
