Job Summary
Plan, manage, and supervise early childhood classroom structure, including lesson plans, schedules, routines, and transitions. Lead the classroom to support associates while ensuring adherence to state standards, regulations, and the Y's philosophy. Ensure the health, welfare, and safety of enrolled children by fostering their social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and creative development. Contribute to the community by working with participants to help them prepare for school and life. Requires at least one year of early childhood experience, a high school degree or GED, and 90 hours of child care certification. All associates must abide by The Code of Conduct with Youth, including training on child abuse prevention and legal reporting requirements.
