Job Summary
Preschool Lead Teacher responsible for providing a safe, healthy and educational learning environment for all children and families served in accordance with state regulations. Oversees classroom operations with a focus on facilitating developmentally appropriate activities, fostering a love of learning, and supporting readiness for Kindergarten. Responsibilities include supervising teaching staff, planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, maintaining child progress records, communicating with families, participating in staff development, and ensuring a positive, inclusive classroom environment aligned with EEC regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold EEC Lead Teacher Certification
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Knowledge of Early Childhood Development
- Knowledge of modern office methods working with computers, data entry and with Microsoft Office, email, and internet
