Job Summary
Lead Preschool Teacher to create an engaging, inclusive learning environment and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that support cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development. Responsibilities include fostering a safe classroom, using diverse teaching methods, planning activities (arts, music, storytelling, outdoor play), assessing and documenting progress, collaborating with fellow teachers, communicating with parents, maintaining health and safety standards, and staying current with best practices in early childhood education. Requires passion for early childhood education, strong communication, creativity in activity design, organizational skills, and First aid/CPR certifications; CDA or Associate's degree preferred with willingness to pursue ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- CDA or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- First aid and CPR certifications required
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Creativity and resourcefulness in designing developmentally appropriate activities
- Strong organizational skills and time management
- Patience and empathy with children and families
- Willingness to renew certifications as needed
- Experience as a Preschool Teacher or in a similar role is desirable
