Job Summary
Care for two to five-year-olds in a safe, nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment by implementing daily routines such as nap-time, diapering, and instructed play time. Facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote spiritual, emotional, and physical growth while maintaining a positive relationship with children, parents, and staff. Ensure the room is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies, adhering to all safety and health guidelines. Provide one-on-one attention and foster a loving, supportive atmosphere. Maintain a mature, professional connection with families and colleagues. The Preschool Lead operates on a year-round schedule from 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The role requires an active membership in a local, gospel-preaching church and a competent understanding of early childhood instruction. Candidates must hold a valid CDA Credential or AA degree and possess CPR/First Aid certification.
Required Qualifications
- A valid CDA Credential/AA Degree (or related to that in early childhood/education field)
- competent understanding of early childhood instruction
- Health and Welfare Background Check
- CPR/First Aid in pediatric/adult
- Year Round schedule
- 7:30am-4:30pm Monday through Friday
- Must be an active member of a local, gospel-preaching, Biblically-based church
