Preschool Lead or Assistant Teacher (East Campus)

Job Summary
Create a nurturing, fun environment for three- and four-year-olds while adhering to State licensing, Paths to Quality 4, and Little Duckling's accreditation standards. Collaborate with co-teachers to execute lesson plans, adapting activities to individual children's needs and interests. Supervise students at all times to ensure safety and well-being during play and learning, promoting physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth through hands-on activities. Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on their child's progress and experiences. Maintain full-time attendance Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- CDA or degree required for Lead Teacher positions
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Currently expediting hires with the ability to work Full-time, Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:30pm

- Experience in early childhood education, particularly working with preschoolers
- Be energetic, fun, and proactive, with the ability to adapt to the needs of individual children and contribute positively to the team
- Ability to follow lesson plans, be flexible to adjust activities as needed, and think quick on your feet
- Dependable. Good attendance and reliability
- Patience working with preschoolers who are still learning to manage themselves and require consistency
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with parents and team members
