Preschool Intensive Special Education Instructional Assistants (4) (SY 2026-2027)

Preschool Intensive Special Education Instructional Assistant (SY 2026-2027) at Needham Public Schools. Provides 1:1 or small group specialized instruction for students with significant special needs using applied behavior analysis within an Intensive Learning Center/Post Graduate Program. Implement student-specific behavior intervention plans, support integration in classroom settings, provide augmentative communication and assistive technology instruction, deliver life skills and pre-vocational training, assist with data collection and progress monitoring, support home/school communications, and perform additional duties as assigned. 0.92 FTE with hours 8:00am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday and 8:00am-12:15pm Friday. Requires collaboration with the Special Education Teacher, BCBA, and Special Education Coordinator/Director; duties performed in a school/classroom environment with potential field trips; ability to sit, stand, and assist with activities including toileting, self-care, and safety considerations.
