Job Summary
Preschool Instructional Coach responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing a comprehensive preschool instructional program aligned with DESE and CPPI standards. Focuses on strengthening instructional practices through data-driven decision-making, including administration and analysis of state-aligned assessments to inform teaching. Coaches teachers across all curriculum areas, bridges instructional strategies between district classrooms and community-based preschool partners, and identifies staff development needs. Works with leadership teams to ensure cohesive alignment of curriculum, assessment, and instruction to support diverse learners. Uses evidence-based strategies, collaborates with school and district committees, employs CLASS observation tools to provide feedback, supports Birth-to-Preschool and Preschool-to-Kindergarten transitions, and integrates Universal Design for Learning (UDL) as prioritized by CPPI. Provides in-service training and ongoing coaching to teachers, and fosters collaboration across teams and partner sites.
Required Qualifications
- Department of Elementary Secondary Education certification
- Minimum of three years of successful Preschool teaching experience
- Successful experience in facilitating adult learning and mentoring
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between multiple district and community-based partner sites
